CAN I USE ANOTHER PIECE OF CHICKEN?

Yes of course, if you use chicken breast, you need to reduce the cooking time by half maybe, just keep an eye on it.

you can use chicken thigh as well, with bone in the same time, with out bone reduce the cooking time.

Here it is a picture of the chipotle peppers that I like to use, the right one is my favorite is only the pulp and the left one is diced and pulp,

I like to use only the pulp for this recipe because is less spicy and I have little kids.

but if you only find the can ONLY use the pulp or liquid DO NOT use the chipotle pepper or it will be very spicy.

MORE SPICY

If you want your drumsticks with sour cream and chipotle more spicy feel to use the chipotle pepper as a whole.

DRUMSTICKS WITH SOUR CREAM AND CHIPOTLE

Ingredients

  • 14 pieces drumsticks
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 4 tbsp chipotle sauce or pulp not the chipotle pepper the liquid from the can.
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 6-8 peel potatoes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. We remove the skin from the drumsticks

    add salt and pepper, and arrange in a 10×15"or you can divide them in 2 pans.

    We peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes and add them with the chicken

    (I have a large container where I can fit my 14 drumsticks, if you don't have a large one divide the chicken and potatoes into 2 pans)

    using a blender or you can mix it by hand the chipotle sauce with a spoon, the cream the milk and the chicken broth together. mix well and add it to the pan with the potatoes and chicken. if you did it in two pans divide the mixture as equal as possible.

    Cover with aluminum and take to the preheated oven at 400F 200C for 1 hour or until the chicken is fully cooked.
