a very delicious dessert, this Lime Carlota Mexican dessert, is a easy and a full of flavor dessert.
INGREDIENTS
to make this delicious dessert, you need Marias cookies, (the original lime carlota dessert Mexican cookies that we use for this dessert.)
here is a picture of it, they are very inexpensive and you find them on the cookie aisle.
but I am pretty sure you can use the graham cracker cookies for this recipe.
- 2 rolls of this Marias cookies
- 1 cream cheese
- 3/4 cup of lime juice natural (around 6 lime juice with no seeds)
- 1 can sweet condensed milk
- 1 can evaporated milk

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- for this Lime Carlota Mexican Dessert, you need to use natural lime juice don’t use the fake one, it’s not the same flavor.
- if you don’t have or don’t want to use it, you can leave out the cream cheese if you would like.
- you can use a homemade sweet condensed milk as well.

LIME CARLOTA MEXICAN DESSERT
Ingredients
- 2 rolls Maria's cookies
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 can sweet condensed milk
- 3/4 cup lime juice
- 1 cream cheese
Instructions

in a blender we add the evaporated milk, the sweet condensed milk and the cream cheese.
blend well for about 30sec then while still going the blender (do not stop blending) add the lime juice slowly and blend for 30 sec more.
in a container 8×8 inch. add a layer of cookies then some of the mixer and spread it to cover all the cookies, then add another level of cookies and some of the mixer and spread it again, you will do this 4 times.
last layer it will be the mixture from the blender.
put it in the fridge for around 1 hour. and it will ready to be serve.
