If you cant find media crema you can use milk. 1 cup.

you can look in 2 places:

  1. in the international aisle.
  2. where all the bakery stuff are, it will be next to the evaporated milk, sweet condensed milk.

Can this cake made in advance?

The cake yes, bake it, let it cool, then you can freeze it covering with plastic wrap. then the day that you are eating it get it out of the freezer like 2 hrs in advance and proceed to do the rest of the process.

How long can the 3 leches cake last in the fridge?

if it last more then 1 day, they just covered with plastic wrap up to 1 week inside the fridge.

Do I have to let it cool completely before adding the milk?

yes, and this step is very important, if you don’t do this step, it will turn out like a dense ,ugly cake that you wont be able to eat.

definitely this is a cold cake, (I can eat it either way)

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 cups pancake mix any brand
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 can media crema if you dont find it use normal milk
  • 2 cans evaporated milk
  • strawberries for decoration

Instructions

  1. pre heat your oven to 350F

    in a bowl add the pancake mix. eggs, sugar and oil, mix well.

    grease a 9×13" pan and add the mixture and bake it for around 20 minutes or until is done.

    get it out of the oven, and let it cool completely.

    once is cold, using a fork make little holes all over the cake..

    in a blender add the 3 different milks and blend well.

    carefully and slowly add the milk to the cake and let it absorbed it. use a knife or spatula to separate the cake from the wall pan, so the milk can go down the cake.

    do this until all the milk is gone.

    in a small bowl add the whipping cream and the sugar and mix until it whipped,

    cover the entire cake , and decorate with strawberries to your taste.
